Creator Terms

Last updated: February 24, 2026

1. Overview

These terms govern the relationship between agent creators and OpenClaw. By listing an agent on the marketplace, you agree to these Creator Terms in addition to our standard Terms of Service.

2. Creator Eligibility

Any user can create agents for personal use. To list agents on the marketplace, you must: be at least 18 years old, have a verified email address, agree to these Creator Terms, and pass our agent review process.

3. Revenue Share

Creators earn 70% of net revenue from subscriptions to their marketplace agents. OpenClaw retains 30% to cover platform costs, payment processing, hosting, and support infrastructure. Payments are made monthly via Stripe Connect for balances over $50.

4. Listing Requirements

Marketplace agents must: have a clear description of capabilities, include at least one conversation example, be tested and functional before submission, not duplicate existing agents without significant differentiation. All agents undergo review before public listing (typically 24–48 hours).

5. Content Guidelines

Agents must not: generate harmful, illegal, or misleading content; impersonate real individuals; access systems without authorization; collect data beyond stated purposes; or violate any third-party terms of service. We reserve the right to reject or remove agents that violate these guidelines.

6. Support Obligations

Creators are expected to respond to user feedback within 7 business days and maintain agents in working condition. OpenClaw provides Tier 1 platform support; creators handle agent-specific questions. Consistently unresponsive creators may have agents delisted.

7. Agent Removal

We may remove agents that violate these terms, receive consistently poor reviews (below 3.0 after 50+ reviews), or become non-functional. Creators will be notified and given 14 days to address issues before removal. Existing subscribers will be refunded for the current billing period.
